Who Qualifies for Nationals?

Students who place first or second in each category at the state contest qualify to compete at National History Day. Third-place finishers serve as alternates at the national competition if the first- or second-place finishers are not able to attend.

State winners who will go Maryland in June should plan to attend a workshop on competing at the national contest.
