Special Awards

Colorado History Day is proud to partner with the following individuals and organizations to offer the following special awards for 2008:

- The Center of the American West at CU-Boulder sponsors one junior and one senior award for Best Project Concerning the History of the American West

- The Teaching East Asia program at CU-Boulder sponsors one junior and one senior award for Best Project in East Asian History

- The journal Diplomatic History sponsors one junior individual and one senior individual award for Best Project in Diplomatic History

- The Chair of Colorado Studies at the University of Colorado Denver will sponsor one junior and one senior award for Best Project in Colorado History

- Sponsorship for one junior and one senior award for Best Project in Interdisciplinary History is available

-The Colorado Historical Society with sponsor the Jim Hartmann Award for first and second place in the junior and senior Best Exhibit Categories

-University of Colorado Denver alumnus Daniel Shosky will sponsor a special award for first and second place in the junior and senior Best Research Paper Categories
